Your fingers are emotions, actions, words, images, and thoughts. Your hand is your aim.
Look at yourself in the mirror right now! What can you see? If you have noticed nothing but your head, body you had better take a better look again. Perhaps then, you will see:
The painter of the drawings like Mona Lisa,
The author of all the bestselling books such as The Secret,
The composer of masterpieces, like The Turkish March,
The builder of skyscrapers, like The Eiffel Tower,
The inventor of all the inventions like mobile phones, TV-sets, computers,
The programmer of the world famous websites and e-stores like Amazon, You Tube,
The producer of all the legendary films like Avatar, The Brave Heart…
Are you saying that it wasn`t you? Both yes and no!
The name of this book explains the whole idea of success both metaphorically and literally. We aren`t responsible for whatever might happen to us, but how we react as well as it would be impossible to imagine to build, create or make something without hands. Since they may show how one is feeling currently, we can change the state of our mind by our hands either. Let me give you an example.
Once I had a very shy student. She felt so anxious and terrified every time she had to answer to some questions as if it was the end of the world and she would have died if she had said something wrong. Observing her moves, I noticed that it was her hands giving her nervousness away trembling and waving unable to rest on one place. As soon as I gave her a notice to put her hands on the table before replying, she calmed down and focusing on the question. From that time, I came to realize that our actions and feelings are correlated which means that one may alter or even impact on another.
Why can our hands change the way we think?
The truth is that our hands can change us only due to the Right Brain-Left Brain theory. According to the scientists, the left hemisphere of our brain controls the muscles on the right side of our body and the right hemisphere – the right side. Why is it important? As you are already aware, each hemisphere has its functions. The Left hemisphere answers for logic, analytical thinking when the right one – for creativity, imagination.
To sum up all of these data, our right hand is connected with the left hemisphere of our brain, and the left hand – with the right hemisphere. It may explain why left-handed people are believed to be more creative. However, we can apply the knowledge in practice either.
Exercise 1: Activation
Try to do something with your left hand what you did with the right one before. It may enable you to see things from different points of view and even feel better.
Moving your hands, keep in your mind that
Your right hand may have a great influence on your thoughts about money, career, health, appearance searching for logical answers to the questions in your mind.
On the contrary, your left hand has a lot to do with the right hemisphere of your brain what is accountable for feelings like love, emotions, peace of mind, happiness, confidence, goals, etc.
The universal affirmation to be successful
The universal affirmation is
“I speak, think, feel, imagine and act like I (have already achieved my goal).”
Our every single day is like the clay in the hands of a master. Like a master who sculptured something out of that amount of clay, we will build our each day. And we build it with our hands. Moreover, if you pay close attention to your hand, you can see the Arabic word “Allah”! It is one of the sign that there still exist miracles only if we can notice them.
